Day 4 | My Belly Dance Journal, 3.1.2016
This week was hard to get practice time before class because I was focused on grieving. I know that taking my grief and getting it out of my system through dance would have been more rewarding, but I didn't.
Although I did not do focused practice (aside from bathroom chest rolls and shimmies) the week before class, I was more comfortable in the dance and out of my head.
I did not make up any specific routine for Oshuns homework, but I seem to continuously day dream choreography in my head. I impromptu-ed for my dance and it felt good in my body. It was better than the last.
I have been watching so many belly dancers on Youtube that inspire me. Oshun asked the class what was our favorite belly dancers.
